But isn't it the closed vertically-integrated market that has generated the quality that Applie by and large demonstrates? We have quite a number of open examples in the market place already. Frought with viruses and malware, mountains of low-grade non-standards-compliant software, confusing IT requirements that a normal non-IT user will never master. Is that a win?
