Firefox 4’s screenshot has been released, Chromy

Firefox 4

Firefox 3.5 was just released, and now we are already getting some screenshots from the new Firefox 3.7, and also screenshots of the Firefox 4.0 (picture to the left). Mozilla tells us in their wiki that these are just brainstorming ideas, as the final look may differ from this.

I have to say, this theme is pretty cool. The thing I like the most about this theme is the transparency. It’s just really calming, to me anyways. Don’t know if that will look as good on Windows XP, Linux, and the Mac OS.

Apparently there are 2 type of tabs configuration, one below the Awesome Bar, and one above the Awesome Bar (See screenshot below):Firefox 4 VS Chrome

I have to say, the new Firefox, especially the one with the tabs on top, is really chromy. The design is almost completely ripped from Chrome!

No word from Mozilla saying when they will release this newer version of the browser. They did say that Firefox 4 will not be available this year.
