Mac OS X Users are screwed by the old Java security flaw.
Don’t you just love Java? Ugly interface, stupid coding system, and now, a big security problem that affects all platform, especially the Mac. On the Mac OS X platform, this feature that has the vulnerability in it is turned on by default. This vulnerability is also demonstrated in the Pwn2Own contest earlier this year.
These security researcher “advise” you to turn off Java in your browser on Mac OS X completely. But if it were me, (I’m about to offend a lot of iFan here), I would stop using Mac OS X and just switch to Windows 7. If you hate Microsoft, use Ubuntu. I hate it when the Mac VS PC commercial say that there is no virus on a Mac. Here’s for you Apple, there is viruses on macs, admit it. It’s called a exploit. There is BSoD on a Mac, admit it. It’s called a BBoD (Beachball of death). Everything that’s on Windows/Linux is on the Mac OS X, or else it wouldn’t be called an “OS”
Phew… I’m mad today. Don’t get on my nerves.
