iPhone OS Almost Get’s Flash!

As always with me, this article uses advanced literacy techniques such as sarcasm and opinion. Neither of these skillz should change how you feel about KKSNetwork. Unless it is in a good way.

All of us who have an iPhone or iPod Touch have been waiting for flash to come. Adobe recently excited us all with an announcement about flash on the iPhone OS. It’s not quite what we were looking for though. Instead of giving us full flash, to which Adobe says overheating is preventing, you can get them in a app, that you will probably pay for. Unless it is ridden with ads.

What is holding them up? I know that having flash would create some problems, like flash gaming would be impossible, due to the lack of  up, down, left and right keys, but they could add them! Also, I can’t view all those flash ads that I love to see. But seriously, video viewing on any site except YouTube is virtually impossible, and you really need flash to experience the web. I believe that Apple has either 1) given up on flash or 2) have it in hiding, and will announce it with 4.0. I highly doubt that option #2 is going to become true though because now Apple isn’t so great at hiding stuff. It turns out that hiding massive warehouses from news agencies desperate for a story doesn’t work out too well. (see: Apple Tablet) My money is on Apple never releasing Flash on iPhone OS, and Apple will convince everybody that Flash in the App Store is good enough. If we were ever going to get flash, it would have been in 3.0.
